Privacy policy
No cookies, no advertising trackers, and only cookie-free analytics. Here is what that means in detail.
The short version
This site does not use cookies, advertising pixels or cross-site tracking. It uses Plausible Analytics to count visits without cookies and without identifying you. It has no accounts, forms or comment sections, so we do not ask you for personal information.
Who we are
This site is operated by Altitudes Group B.V., a company in the Netherlands. Altitudes Group B.V. is responsible for this policy and for any personal information we receive.
What we collect
We do not collect personal information ourselves. Like every website, this one is delivered by a hosting provider. Its servers automatically record technical data when you load a page, such as your IP address, the page you requested, your browser type and the time of the request. This is kept in server logs by the hosting provider under its own privacy terms. We do not use it to identify you.
If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you write. We use it only to reply, and we do not sell it or share it for marketing.
Analytics
We use Plausible Analytics to see how many people visit, which pages they read and where they came from. Plausible sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device. It does not collect or store your IP address: it combines the IP address and browser type with a salt that changes every day into a code that cannot be traced back to you, so a visitor cannot be followed from one day to the next or across websites. We see only totals, such as page views, referring sites, countries and device types. Plausible processes this data on servers in the European Union under its own privacy policy and data policy.
Links to other sites
Some links on this site lead to merchants and are affiliate links (see our affiliate disclosure). When you click one, the merchant and its affiliate network may set cookies and collect data about your visit and any purchase, so that they can credit us a commission. What they collect is governed by their privacy policies, not this one.
Do Not Track
We do not track you across websites and we do not identify individual visitors. The only measurement on this site is the cookie-free visit count described under Analytics. This applies whether or not your browser sends a Do Not Track signal.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page and update the effective date above. If we ever add cookies or other analytics, we will update this policy first and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
